INDIANAPOLIS (INM) – On Saturday March 20th, 2021 in the great state of Louisiana, there will be a Special Election held to decide which Republican, Democrat, Independent & Libertarian candidates will move on to the Special Runoff being held Saturday April 24th, 2021 to represent the people of Louisiana’s 2nd Congressional District.
This seat is up for special election, due to resignation of Cedric Richmond, who became Senior Adviser to the President and White House Public Engagement Director in the Biden Regime. The following are a list of current candidates along with links to their Ballotpedia page.

Along with the Special Election for Louisiana’s 2nd Congressional District, on the same day another Special Election will be held to decide, which Republican, Democrat or Independent candidates will move on to the Special Runoff being held on Saturday April 24th, 2021 for Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District.
This seat is up for special election due to the untimely passing on December 29th, 2020 of Member of Congress-elect Luke Letlow from complications of COVID-19. The following are a list of current candidates along with links to their Ballotpedia page.
