Her name is no longer on the case, but Kamala Harris suffered a smackdown when the Supreme Court toppled California’s donor-disclosure requirement for charities.

When Harris was the attorney general for California, she issued a decree that charitable non-profits would have to disclose their donor lists.

However, the Supreme Court smacked her down.

At the time, Harris had told the charities that they would have to submit the lists of top donors or they faced substantial fines.
